What a wonderful video ❤. As a fellow mama that has also experienced feeding difficulties. Give yourself grace, there are so many emotions attached to feeding your baby, and the whole thing can feel really overwhelming. If your baby is still on a feeding strike, I found pumping on one side at a time, while snuggling my baby skin to skin on the other side made pumping easier and helped my milk supply. Sometimes baby will smell your milk and even decide to start nursing again. I hope all is well and you are enjoying these early days ❤

I'm currently in my second trimester with my third pregnancy. I loved how candid you describe your birth experience. In my experience, just like each baby is unique and different, so is each pregnancy and birth. I have a completely new experience every time, and my only advice to others is breathe and be open to what the experience is offering you. Sometimes things don't go as planned, but that doesn't mean that they've "gone wrong" . Best of luck to all the expecting, or new mamas out there! Well done Sofie! Grew up many years ago in Halifax NS. My first trip was to London England. I surprisingly felt very much at home in England but when I later traveled to Canada and the United States, I realized just how British Halifax NS was and understood why I felt more at home in England than I did in Canada (west of the Maritimes) and the United States (excluding New England). Of course as the years have passed, the connection the east coast has with the UK seems to be slowly diminishing and the people are beginning to identify more with the rest of Canada. Curiously the rest of Canada still look at the Maritimes and Newfoundland as significantly different from the rest of Canada...almost as if they really do not belong. In a way they are correct as most of the East coast was more or less forced into confederation with The Canadas and had never felt completely comfortable with the union. Their natural connection was with New England but that ship has sailed and with the current political situation in the United States it is probably a good thing.

You’re doing a great job as a mama! My first son went on a nursing strike after the nurses at the hospital gave him a few supplemental bottles after birth, without my knowledge. With my next two, we had a sign in the bassinet that said NO BOTTLES. :). Some babies just get spoiled very easily with the ease of bottle feeding.
